BGMEA leads circular textile trade mission to Netherlands

BGMEA delegation, led by Vice President Vidiya Amrit Khan, joined the Circular Textile Trade Mission in the Netherlands (Sept 8–11, 2025) under the theme “Together for a Circular Fashion Tomorrow.”
The mission, co-organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Dutch Embassy in Dhaka, focused on business, investment, and technology exchange in recycling, textile waste management, and advanced production processes.
Delegates attended seminars on circular policies, funding, and technologies, and visited pioneering recycling firms like Brightfiber Inside, Wieland Textiles, SaXcell, and Frankenhuis, as well as Saxion University’s Circular Textile Lab.
They also participated in Circular Textile Days, a major European platform showcasing solutions in circular design, traceability, and sustainable production. The initiative aligns with BGMEA’s Sustainability Vision 2030, prioritising circularity, emission reduction, and green growth, with participation from several leading Bangladeshi apparel and textile companies.
