Bangladesh-China business summit to spotlight investment and trade cooperation

A daylong international networking event titled “Bangladesh China Business Summit 2026” will be held in Dhaka on May 16 to strengthen trade, investment and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and China.

Organized by Bangladesh China Club Ltd. (BCCL), the summit aims to create a platform for international investment opportunities, strategic partnerships and long-term business collaboration between companies and investors from both countries.

According to a press release issued by the organizers, representatives from the Global Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Federation are collaborating with BCCL to host the event. United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) will serve as the title sponsor of the summit.

Chairman of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), Muzaffar Ahmed, is expected to attend the event as the chief guest.

The summit will feature international business networking sessions, B2B matchmaking opportunities, Bangladesh investment presentations, discussions on China-Bangladesh trade and investment, banking and financial collaboration sessions, and one-to-one investor meetings.
