BHRRC survey said most apparel buyer did not shift orders from Bangladesh

Paramount Textiles recently hosted a fabrics week called “Spring-Summer Collection Fabrics Week” to boost Bangladesh’s textile industry globally. The 11-day exhibition, running until May 14 from 10 am to 6 pm, features over 2,000 fabrics like jute, cotton, linen, viscose, voile, poplin, and high-density fabrics.

Anita Haque, the chairperson, inaugurated the event at the company’s headquarters in the capital. Notable buyers from renowned brands like Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, and others are participating. Paramount Textiles focuses on eco-friendly products such as recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and organic yarn. Anita highlighted that the exhibition aims to showcase the country’s fabrics to the international clothing market, featuring their top-notch spring and summer collections.
