Government of Bangladesh has appointed Major General Mohammad Moazzem Hossain as the new Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA).
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration recently, the Bangladesh Army officer will serve on deputation in this role.
BEPZA, operating under the Office of the Chief Adviser, is the country’s principal agency for attracting investment and managing export processing zones, a key driver of Bangladesh’s industrial and trade growth.
