Bangladesh Textile Journal (BTJ) is proud to present the ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 Roadshow in Bangladesh, bringing together leading figures from Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry to explore the latest developments in textile machinery, technology, automation and sustainable manufacturing directly presented by the top Chinese delegates.
The two-day roadshow will take place on 1 September at Narayanganj Club, Narayanganj, followed by the Dhaka programme on 2 September at Lakeshore Heights, Dhaka.
The event brings together a diverse and influential audience comprising industry leaders, technology providers, apparel manufacturers, spinning and weaving mills, knitting manufacturers, dyeing and finishing companies, dyes and chemicals producers and users, machinery importers, textile professionals and representatives from a wide range of industry niches. The roadshow is designed to create a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, technology awareness and business networking ahead of ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 in Shanghai.
Established in 2008, ITMA ASIA + CITME has developed into Asia’s leading business platform for textile machinery, combining the strengths of the world-renowned ITMA brand with CITME, China’s major textile machinery exhibition. The 2026 edition will be held from 20–24 November 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai), China. The organisers describe the exhibition as a leading-edge platform connecting textile machinery manufacturers with buyers seeking advanced manufacturing technologies. The 2024 edition attracted approximately 90,000 visitors from 111 countries and regions, while the exhibition was recognised as the largest textile machinery showcase in Asia.
For the third consecutive time, Bangladesh Textile Journal is proud to promote ITMA ASIA + CITME in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has consistently been one of the most important visitor markets for the exhibition, reflecting the country’s position as one of the world’s leading textile and apparel manufacturing hubs. BTJ expects strong participation from Bangladesh once again as industry professionals prepare to discover the technologies and innovations that will shape the next generation of textile manufacturing.
The roadshow will provide Bangladesh’s textile community with an opportunity to understand the scope of ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026, engage with technology providers and industry stakeholders, and prepare for a major international sourcing and technology event in Shanghai.
