‘Shukhee’ wins SDG brand champion award 2026 for advancing rural healthcare

Shukhee, the digital healthcare platform of Grameen HealthTech Limited, has been named the Bangladesh Country Winner in the “SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being” category at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026, recognizing its contribution to improving access to quality healthcare across the country.
The award honours organizations making measurable and lasting contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through impactful initiatives.
Shukhee earned the recognition for its Shukhee Gram initiative, which aims to bridge the healthcare gap between urban and rural Bangladesh by providing affordable and accessible medical services to underserved communities.
The platform combines telehealth consultations, remote health monitoring, HealthStore services and Shukhee Seba Kendra (SSK) touchpoints to connect rural populations with doctors and essential healthcare services.
According to Grameen HealthTech, Shukhee currently serves more than five million customers across Bangladesh, with rural healthcare remaining a key focus of its mission.
