Bangladesh-based apparel manufacturer and exporter Urmi Group has received the Plan A Sustainability Award at the Marks & Spencer (M&S) Supplier Summit, recognising its sustainability performance within the retailer’s global supply chain.
The award highlights Urmi Group’s environmental and sustainability initiatives and recognises the company as a leading performer in environmental sustainability among M&S suppliers globally.
Urmi Group Managing Director Asif Ashraf said the recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to creating positive environmental and social impact in partnership with M&S.
The award further underscores the growing focus on sustainability and responsible manufacturing across Bangladesh’s apparel industry, as global brands increasingly strengthen environmental and social standards throughout their supply chains.
