Bangladesh International Plastic Fair 2025 held in Dhaka

The 17th Bangladesh International Plastic Fair 2025 was recently held at the Bashundhara International Convention City in Dhaka.
Inaugurated by Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the commerce ministry, the four-day event began on February 12th and was jointly organized by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited.
The fair featured over 800 stalls representing 18 countries and showcased products from more than 390 top brands. Key attendees included Md Abdur Rahim Khan, secretary to the commerce ministry, Md Jasim Uddin, president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Md Hafizur Rahman, administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Akai Lin, overseas director of Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service, and BPGMEA President Samim Ahmed.
The event highlighted Bangladesh’s growing plastic industry and its increasing engagement in international trade and innovation.
